Public transportation is all about networks, flows, and connections. Just like design.
Growing up dependent on trains and subways, I spent half of my life thinking about systems, wayfinding, and how elements must work together seamlessly, like a train network. Back in high school, I commuted three hours a day across cities. To stay awake, I began observing the familiar strangers beside me. That experience helped me recognize how successful design fulfills its purpose and manages to provide service to hundreds of thousands of people.
This observation shapes my approach to design. I prioritize usability and inclusivity in my designs. I value clarity and functionality over ornamentation; and believe designs should serve their purpose without distraction. The journey I once took on this train brings me forward to the next station.
