UI/UX Design
The Norton Simon Museum website redesign is one example that showcases my UI/UX design skills. I drew the color palette directly from the museum’s iconic architecture, aiming to create a refined, insightful, and immersive digital experience that evokes its serene and curated atmosphere.
Motion Design
My motion design works include Night Commute and When the Beat Found Me. Night Commute explores motion through abstraction and rhythm. Created in Adobe After Effects, this 30-second piece captures my nightly journey using simple shapes, light, and color set to “Eating Heartache” by Cosmo’s Midnight. The animation transforms the ordinary act of commuting into a meditative visual experience. (Music used for educational and non-commercial purposes only.)
When the Beat Found Me is a 36-second animation inspired by Roy Ayers’s Searching. It celebrates the magic of his music—lifting the viewer into an afternoon sky, filled with warmth, rhythm, and a sense of joy. Guided by lyrics and movement, the piece evokes the dreamy, free-flowing spirit of Ayers’s sound.
Illustration
What’s Inside the Trash Can? is an illustration project inspired by observing daily food waste on campus. I documented and illustrated what was left behind after a single lunchtime, uncovering the overlooked stories hidden inside the trash can.
